The competition is divided into two groups:
Grade 1 & 2
Theme 1: Space Adventure
Project: Kids create their own interactive space adventure story using block-based coding. They can design characters like astronauts and aliens and program them to move through different space-themed scenes, make choices, and even include simple dialogues.
Theme 2: Forest Explorer
Project: Kids can create an interactive story or game where they play the role of a forest explorer meeting different animals in the forest. They can code the animals to move, make sounds, and even have simple conversations with the explorer.
Grade 3 & 4
Theme 1: Climate Change
Project: Create a platformer game where players must navigate a world affected by climate change. They can code obstacles like rising sea levels and extreme weather events while collecting eco-friendly power-ups to combat these challenges.
Theme 2: Racing Game
Project: Kids can code a racing game where players navigate challenging obstacles. They can use coding blocks to control the speed and direction of their vehicle while avoiding obstacles like barriers, jumps, and loops.
