IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and Naresh Vashisht Centre for Tinkering & Innovation (NVCTI) in partnership with Codingal is conducting BEINGARTIFEX SKILLATHON 2021 for Grade 6-10 students.

This competition is a paid competition where students are required to pay INR 200 per contest/stream.

Objective of the Skillathon

BEINGARTIFEX SKILLATHON 2021 is the 1st learning cum competitive skillathon. The main aspect of the skillathon would be to make the students aware of the technology that is being used in the marketing, social and industrial fields so they can come up with innovative ideas hence helping to build up a skilled India 

In this event, the students will first learn the most basics of subjects they are interested in and will gradually dive deep into it as the skillathon continues, during the learning process they will come across various existing examples/projects, this will help the students to find a way of interest towards technology to enhance the efficiency of certain areas.

Eligibility Criteria

School students from Grade 6 to Grade 10 are allowed to participate in this Skillathon.

Participation Fee

Students are allowed to participate individually

The entry fee for each selected competition is INR 200

For participating in multiple competitions, students need to pay an extra 200 per new competition.

Note: Without competition fee payment, your registration for the competition will not be considered

GRAND FINALE (PROJECTS) - JULY 5, 2021

PHASE 1 - LEARNING

The preparation or learning phase; The preparation or learning phase will start from 1st June till 21st June. In this phase, participants will be given proper training under the guidance of their respective stream’s mentor where they will get to learn about these topics and also get a brief idea of what advanced functions are being carried out under the particular stream they are working on. 

PHASE 2 - THEME - BASED QUIZ

Learning Phase will be followed by a quiz event. It will be based upon competition-related questions. A cut-off will be fixed for the quiz. All participants passing cut-off will be awarded "Course-Completion Certificate". Finalists will be selected for the Grand Finale.

PHASE 3 - GRAND FINALE

In this final stage, selected participants will be given tasks to implement their knowledge to create a skillathon project and final winners will be selected from this event.

Note: Those registering after June 1, 2021, will start missing out on learning sessions but can still register for the competition till June 24, 2021.

Top 5 winners from each competition will get a 20% discount on any coding courses from Codingal including Robotics

Top Winner from each competition will also receive a Codingal Gift Hamper

Top 5 Winners from each competition will receive the certificate from BEINGARTIFEX 

Participants passing the cut off marks of the Quiz event will receive a Course-Completion Certificate from BEINGARTIFEX

How to register for the competition?

There is a 2-level registration for the competition.

1. Click on the "Register Now" button.
2. When you click on the "Register Now" button, you will have to input your mobile number.
3. Enter the below information in the registration form.

• Student's Name
• Grade
• Email
• Mobile Number
• Parent Name
• Principal Name
• School Name
• City
• State

      4. Select Competition/s in which you want to participate.

          To select multiple competitions options, press "Ctrl" and select the competition.

      5. Click on the "Register for the competition" button.

      6. Enter 6 digit OTP number received on SMS. You are registered for the competition

By registering for the competition, it shall be deemed that each individual has agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

Participating individuals of Skillathon are expected to follow the BeingArtifex rules. They reserve the right to disqualify individuals not confirming with the eligibility criteria or not complying with the Terms & Conditions and/or the competition rules and spirits.
